On 15 March 2001 DSS laid a major set of amendments (SI 2001/934) to the Stakeholder Regs (SI 2000/1403). Though appearing just three weeks from launch date, the Government's intentions had been notified in a 2 November 2000 letter from the DSS to the ABI and AUTIF, which was also published on the DSS website. The final changes - not all of which were specifically mentioned in the 2 Nov letter - are summarised in a DSS press release.
