IR SPSS Customer Forum
by Ian Neale 14/01/2003 Printer-friendly version of this page
IR SPSS (Inland Revenue Savings, Pensions, Share Schemes) has posted on the web the official Minutes of the most recent Customer Forum (held on 14 November 2002). This eighth meeting was, as usual, well attended by senior managers from IR SPSS, plus representatives of 14 other organisations including Aries.
We were introduced to the new Director of SPSS, Caroline Rookes, who expressed a keen interest in learning what we as customers want and expect from SPSS. Other matters discussed included SIPP audits; progress on the Single Gateway and Contracting-out Elections Project; reclaim of overpaid rebates; the role of Customer Liaison Managers (Alec Humbles and Terry Maddocks) and a new SPSS approach to risk; a review of the approval of pensioneer trustees; continuous service; improvement of the quality and consistency of IR advice; and Integrated SHP/PP Model Rules.
The Customer Forum commenced in May 1999 and meets each May and November, usually at Inland Revenue offices in Central London.
