Revenue Amends Information Powers Regs

The Retirement Benefits Schemes (Information Powers) (Amendment) Regulations* 2002 (SI 2002/3006) have been laid and come into force on 6 April 2003. This is a whole year later than the Revenue originally planned when consulting in August 2001 on draft Amendment Regs. Though reasons for the long delay are unclear, two very significant changes have been made in what is otherwise a recognisable implementation of the draft.
