The DWP has confirmed to the Society of Pension Consultants, of which Aries is a member, that the majority of "non-Directive-derived" measures in the Pensions Bill (with the exception of the PPF and the Pensions Regulator and provisions closely dependent on their establishment*, and a few other exceptions such as TUPE) will be implemented from April 2006.

* ie Parts 1 (Regulator), 2 (PPF) and 6 (Financial Assistance Scheme), which are expected to be commenced from 6 April 2005.
