Starting on 9 June with a statement about "Getting to grips with the employer covenant" (see Aries article), The Pensions Regulator (TPR) promised a series of new guidance documents for consultation this summer. The first of these, "Employer Covenant: a consultation document on the new guidance" followed swiftly on 15 June (closing date for responses is 7 September 2010). Revised guidance on Internal Controls, relating to Code of Practice 09, appeared on the same date. Earlier in June TPR updated its guidance on record-keeping and on winding-up (see Aries article).
